Hangovers are hell on Friday and who stopped the music.
The commenters on GVX are going nuts complaining about the loss of Tennessee to Louisville (yeah, those same guys that said John Adams is the anti-Christ the last time they tied one on).
Put it in perspective: In retrospect, it was a spectacular season for Chris Lofton, Bruce Pearl and the Tennessee basketball family.
The ride was good even if the stop was a wreck.
Here's a look at what bloggers and sportswriters were saying about the game early this morning.

Coming into this game, Louisville was hot, Vols were not. After watching Louisville two times, I picked they would beat us badly. They did. Rick knows how to get his teams to peak at the right time. Bruce will learn how to do that. Vols played poorly after the Memphis win and couldn't get over the edge. Blame whoever you want, but I see Howell's shooting as the key. I am not blaming Howell, these things happen. I am just saying that everything changed when Howell's shooting went South.
Now for next year. If Ramar is going to drive the basket, he has to learn how to shoot free throws. Driving, getting fouled and missing free throws are like turnovers, only they take longer and are more painful.
If JP and Ramar are our guards, then they need to work all summer on a three point shot. If they don't, the big guys are in trouble.
Great year. Go VOls.

@Jshoop: Good post. Improving the free throw percentage should be a goal of most of this talented team.

"...said John Adams is the anti-Christ..."
LOL. Thank you, Jack Lail! You made my morning!

hey jack are u implying that peeps r drunk when they post?

@smokedoctor I hope a few of them are. Posting while intoxicated isn't against the law, yet, is it? Most of our GVX make sense and have a fun with bantering Vol sports. But for a few of them, intoxication would be the best D-fence. :)

John Adams is the Devil! He probably never played foosball.

The best D-fense is a good O-ffense. On that note, I think I'll have another drink!
