I heard that John Adams extorted the EPpy Award board members by threatening to write an OpEd article calling for their positions. Seems that their president was letting things get out of hand at office parties and photocopies of his secretary's ta-ta's were used as cleavage...I mean leverage.

Agreed! I think many commenters (but not all) contribute to making GVX a great site. The regular commenters have a sense of community; they often provide additional facts to the stories, and they provide a rich diversity of opinions.

And if a few go overboard, I hope other users will help us by clicking the "suggest removal" link.

I'm another out-of-stater who relies heavily on this site for my daily Vols fix. Thanks for providing this informative and entertaining forum and congratulations on this award. Having looked in occasionally on other sports sites, this is, IMHO, indeed one of the best in terms both of coverage and in the generally high level of discourse. Keep up the good work, both KNS staffers and, er, MOST posters(;-P)!

lail, nice job and congrats to your department. From this knats perspective it would be nice to have a hometown paper that supported the university a little more rather than catering to an editors personal agenda. ESPN does a facinating job "dissin'" old UT, we sure don't need it from our own paper. Keep the faith, being a puppet ain't easy.

Adams has little to do with the success of this site, although he is a good writer.
