A day after being named an All-American, Tennessee senior Tonya Callahan was picked as one of four finalists for the Honda Sports Award for Softball.
The third baseman led the SEC with a .465 batting average, an .864 slugging percentage and a .630 on-base percentage.
She becomes the fourth Lady Vol in three seasons named a finalist for the award. Sarah Fekete and Monica Abbott were finalists in 2006. Abbott won the award in 2007.
Callahan is also a finalist for the USA Softball National Collegiate Player of the Year trophy.
She was named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-American Team on Wednesday.
