Jaguars release Brown from practice squad

Jacksonville waived rookie tight end and former University of Tennessee standout Chris Brown from the practice squad.

Brown was on the practice squad since the start of the season.

The 6-foot-1, 249-pound Brown signed a free-agent contract with the Jaguars after not being drafted.

He had 41 catches for 282 yards and six touchdowns for the Vols last season.

Maybe he can come and coach tigh ends at UT. I forget the coachs name Fulmore hired but there Warren is sitting on the bench, makes you wander if he is being taught any thing.

Being versatile isn't always a good thing. Not exceptional at anything to stand out. Tough business.
