KANSAS CITY - Punter Dustin Colquitt of the Kansas City Chiefs could miss a second straight game with a groin injury.
The former University of Tennessee standout and Knoxville native did not practice Wednesday, and coach Herm Edwards did not sound encouraging about his status for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.
Colquitt, averaging 47.9 yards, is one of the few Chiefs players near the top in any meaningful statistical category.
Replacement Steve Weatherford punted seven times for a 41.3 net average, but only a 27-yard gross against the New York Jets last Sunday.
Colquitt suffered the injury against Carolina on Oct. 19 and played with it the following week against Tennessee.
