Tennessee Stat Book
Our roundup today is a little looking back, a little looking forward and a little wondering what the heck.
While the Monday morning writers continue to analyze what happened in the Florida game and what that loss means, the date with Auburn looms a day closer. Mike Griffith, in his "Ask Griff" blog, sees a win at Auburn, while others only see a coach, and maybe an AD, on the hot seat.

mike griffith can't be that stupid.
hey griff......tennessee has played 180 minutes and a little extra of football this season. how many of those minutes were "good" minutes? how many of those minutes was tenn's head up its rear?
can't beat a ranked team on the road in the SEC with your head up your rear.
tenn can't avoid stupidity at home, how are they going to be play well and beat a good football team on the road?
tenn's problems are not as big as auburn's?
i can't honestly believe this is a genuine opinion.

99...Have we converted you to the "orange" side? You are starting to sound like a frustrated, aggravated, pizzed-off, dumb-founded, confused, angry, disgusted, puzzled, cynical, UT fan! Glad you could come join a losing program. The only difference is you have a helluva good team to lean on.

Psychic reading for Sat. September 27, 2008:
Coach Fullmore: "we shot ourselves in the foot today, we will work like heck to get better, Compton is a good QB, you guys always blame the Coaches and the QB, it is really the punters fault, if only he did not kick the ball to their guys we would not have to worry about tackling anyone, next week I will make some adjustments and see if we can get someone else to play the part of Smokey, etc. etc.....
Hamilton: In my dream last night we had 98, 000 people in the stands, but then gas prices were high, the sun was out, a lot of people wanted to watch the game on PAY FOR VIEW on their HDTV, I heard one persons grandmother got sick on the way to the game, my feet hurt, the sky is falling, Vandy was playing Kentucky and it too was in HD, there is a bug going around and a lot of people are sick, my neighbors best friends sisters friend of her cousin three times removed has a dog that was hit by a car last Thursday and well when her cat heard of this everyone was so sad they could not come to the game, blahhhhhhhhh blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

i just hate (in whatever endeavor we are talking) when people try to avoid reality.
some people want to not be negative because they want to believe that the school they love won't fail and will succeed.
while i appreciate that.....what is....is.
and when reality is clear as crystal and people don't see it, to me that's unbelievably frustrating.
the good news is....most of y'all get it.
some still don't.
