Lady Vols split doubleheader with Ole Miss

Tennessee freshman Cat Hosfield recorded a career-high 10 strikeouts and Nicole Kajitani drove in two runs in a 5-2 victory at Ole Miss in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday in Oxford, Miss.

Kelly Grieve had two hits and scored a run for No. 12 Tennessee (35-10-1, 11-7-1 SEC).

The Rebels (19-25, 6-18) earned a split with a 4-1 win in the nightcap. Lady Vols sophomore Ashton Ward got the pitching start and gave up three runs on four hits in six innings.

Ashley Andrews went 3-for-3 with a double and triple for UT.
