It seems to be only a matter of time until Dexter Moody becomes a Vol.
“I’m going to (sign) as soon as they offer,” the former Georgia signee said.
That offer could come quickly. Barring an unforeseen issue in his background search, Tennessee is expected to offer the 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker a scholarship in the near future.
“It’s pretty much up to me to get my schoolwork done,” the standout linebacker from Emanuel County Institute in Twin City, Ga. said.
Moody said he doubts he’ll look at other schools as he waits for UT’s offer.
“I’m going to wait and eventually I hope I’ll get a scholarship offer from them,” Moody said.
Moody was one of several visitors for Saturday’s Orange and White Game.
Moody signed with Georgia in February but was given his unconditional release following an incident with one of his teachers at Emanuel County Institute.
