The sports world is all a-twitter with Twitter. The social networking application is taking over — 140 characters at a time.
Just ask Tennessee football Coach Lane Kiffin. He's a recent Twitter recruit, creating an account and posting regularly so he can share his thoughts on all things orange.
At 5:45 last Saturday morning, Kiffin gave a brief shout-out to his 1,508 followers. Yes, Kiffin likes to share his "tweets" with his peeps.

Lane Kiffin told me yesterday they were having a luncheon for all of the administrative assistants since it was, of course, Administrative Professional's Day. I know this because of Twitter. If not for twitter, I might not have known about this VERY integral part of Coach K's day.
Also, there is a "fake" Ed Orgeron twitter account and yesterday the update was "Yelled at Kiffin. Called him a pu**y."
