OXFORD, Miss. — Junior college transfer DeAngelo Riley has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Mississippi.

Ole Miss basketball coach Andy Kennedy on Friday said Riley, a 6-foot-9, 235-pound forward from Southwest Tennessee Community College, will have two years of eligibility with the Rebels.

Riley averaged 12.1 points, eight rebounds and 2.9 blocked shots per game last season as SWCC finished with a 27-3 record.

Kennedy needs all the help he can get. If he follows beating up the cabbie with a losing season he'll be gone.
