The Tennessee women’s golf team will head to Gainesville, Fla., for the NCAA East Regional Tournament from May 7-9, the NCAA announced on Monday afternoon.
A field of 63 teams and nine individuals were selected for the NCAA field, which will consist of three 54-hole regional tournaments and a 72-hole NCAA Championship.
This is the 17th consecutive NCAA Tournament selection for the Lady Vols, who have competed at an NCAA Regional every year since the program’s first season in 1992-93.
The Lady Vols earned the seventh-seed in the East region, and will be one of 21 teams competing at the par- 70, 6,044-yard Mark Bostick Golf Course at the University of Florida.
The top eight teams and two individuals in each region will advance from regional competition to the NCAA Women’s Golf Championships in Owings Mills, Md., from May 19-22.
