Tennessee's Chris Paisley was selected first team on the All-SEC golf teams announced Monday by the league office.
Paisley, a Newcastle, England, native, has the fourth best stroke average in the SEC at 72.23 and is ranked 38th in the nation by Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index Ratings.
Sophomore Robin Wingardh was a second team honoree. He has a stroke average of 72.50.
Freshman Darren Renwick made the All-Freshman team after turning in three top-20 performances during the season.
"It was terrific to see Chris and Robin named to SEC all-conference selections," UT head coach Jim Kelson said. "Chris has played exceptionally well this year and deserved to be named to the first team, and Robin is beginning to perform at a consistently high level.
"Finally, we were very excited to see Darren named to the Freshman All-SEC team. He has worked extremely hard and been a very coachable young man. He certainly was deserving of being named to this team."
Women's Golf: The Tennessee women's golf team will head to Gainesville, Fla., for the NCAA East Regional tournament from May 7-9, the NCAA announced.
A field of 63 teams and nine individuals were selected for the NCAA field, which will consist of three 54-hole regional tournaments and a 72-hole NCAA Championship.
This is the 17th consecutive NCAA tournament selection for the Lady Vols, who have competed at an NCAA Regional every year since the program's first season in 1992-93.
The Lady Vols earned the seventh-seed in the East region, and will be one of 21 teams competing at the par-70, 6,044-yard Mark Bostick Golf Course at the University of Florida.
The top eight teams and two individuals in each region will advance from regional competition to the NCAA Women's Golf Championships in Owings Mills, Md., from May 19-22.
Tennis: The Tennessee men's and women's tennis teams will host a viewing party for the NCAA Championships selection show at Buffalo Wild Wings at 1912 Cumberland Avenue from 5-6 p.m. today.
Tennessee is one of four schools in the country to have both its men's and women's tennis programs ranked among the top 10 in the nation in the Campbell/Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll.
