Tennessee at Kentucky baseball preview

n Where: Cliff Hagan Stadium in Lexington.

When: Today, 6:30 p.m. (WNML-FM 99.1 and 99.3); Saturday, 4 p.m. (WNML-FM 99.1 and 99.3); Sunday, 1 p.m. (WNML-FM 99.1 and 99.3).

n Kentucky (22-22, 7-14 SEC): Gary Henderson is in his first year as head coach after John Cohen left for Mississippi State. Michael Williams, a freshman catcher from Farragut High School, is hitting .174 in 14 games. He backs up Marcus Nidiffer, who played at Tennessee High. The Wildcats have lost five of their past six, including an 11-2 setback to Louisville on Tuesday.

It seems like Todd could have use a better line than we are more "offensive" this year than a year ago. Many will take that the wrong way. I hope the baseball team finishes strong.

I hope they finish strong, too, but if they lose one more game, they're not going to the SEC Tournament. Shut out at the bottom for the 3rd straight year.

Yeah, but in the sport that most people care about, Tennessee has the longest domination in CFB over lil' Blue-- every year since 1984. Brutal.

It's over boys..
UT will not be going to the SEC Baseball Tournament for the third year in a row.

My bad.. actually, it's the second year in a row for NO SEC Baseball tournament. But in two out of three years, it's been no tournament. The last year they went (2007), they won just one game and got sent home.
Pathetic.
