Poole injured at practice

Tennessee running back Tauren Poole was carted off the field during Friday's practice after injuring his right leg in a passing drill.

Head coach Lane Kiffin later told the media he thought Poole had leg cramps.

"It looked like he cramped up," Kiffin said, "but I don't know.... So, we'll see."

Is it me or is there a steady stream of injuries coming after only 3 days of practice? Not good and not a good sign.

Let's just hope it's not too serious.

Maybe they will put ol' Dennis Rogan back at there at tailback if the others get injured, The Whole D@mn Show

Being carted off doesn't sound good. I hope the kid doesn't have a serious injury he is going to be a very good RB. He kind of flew under the recruiting radar but those who saw him play know better.

Get well young man. We love your enthusiasm and effort.

THIS IS BULLSH>>! GD! All this hype over BB and our 7yard a carry back goes down. Dam.it can we play WKent already?

it was a passing drill with no contact, - no one knows the extend of his injury at the time, he was carted off as a precautionary effort. stop being afraid, this isn't UF - where they tore 6? ACLs in fall practice last year

Careful what you say. Most non contact injury's are fluke injuries that end up being ACL's or Achilles.

well looks like my prediction on a hardesty article may make me out to be smarter than i may give myself credit.i posted that i loved his style of running but by the end of the year i felt that one of the younger guys would have the better overall stats.but still wish it to be hardesty's year because man he has waited thru all the injuries hasn't he

No need to express yourself with that kind of language. We ,the fans, don't like injuries either, but injuries happen.Simply wish this young man a quick recovery and pray that it is nothing serious. His recovery means more than anything. You seem more worried that we may lose a game than you do about his health and future.

I think he stays healthy and has a big year, Hardesty that is, 1000+ yds..I hope

Preseason camp just gotta suck it up, he'll be alright! Go Vols!!!

Make no mistake about it. A healthy M. Hardesty isn't just going to fall off the depth chart just because of Brown/Oku. He's a good cut-back runner with some power. He'll be able to take advantage of this new zone blocking scheme. Remember the last time a running back a senior running back was getting pressed by highly regarded freshmen? Travis Stephens and we all know what he did his last season

Yep definetely, he'll do just fine. Dont get me wrong I'm glad Brown and Oku are here, but it's too much to try and put them ahead of a guy who's been there. (Yep south carolina, but originally from Knoxville). That running game has got to develop

Language? I said something with no vowels. Anyway you're right. Pool has been forgotten in the midst of Bryce signing a LOI. I personally think (TP) can carry 35 a game and has not seen a bit of respect from T fans. This guy is our Stephens and Little man stuart. Please god tell me this is a cramp.

I hope Tauren is ok and all it was was cramps. He is one player that I really like. I think he will surprise some people this year as well. I know that it is a crowded backfield now with the 2 stellar freshmen, but Tauren will get his opportunities too and I think that he will shine.
GBO!
