I think they ought to do something where they let Vol fans submit articles to them, and they go through them to make sure it's not all "We are tha best and all the Gayters can sukit" If it's an intelligent, well thought out article, publish it. If they notice someone is a good writer, has favorable reviews from fans, and is articulate enough to write good articles consistently, offer them a job. It always makes us angry when someone takes a shot at our team. I don't care if it's Tennessee, Florida, Bama or Slippery Rock. One thing to keep in mind with respect to this article that makes you mad is this. Kiffin told the world that his intention was to draw attention to UT, and that's what he has done.
So whether you like the article or not you have to keep in mind that Kiffin did it, by design. Is it good, or bad? I guess we'll all be watching to see.

Listen, I understand completely, but at this stage of the game what has UT done that really makes them stand out? It's hard for a first year coach, going to a school that hasn't fared all that great over the past several years to get national attention. Honestly dude, when a team that had a bad offense last year returns only three offensive lineman and a wide receiver, you don't get better... There's no doubt that your defense is good... but your team looks only marginally better than the Woody Woodenhoffer lead Vanderbilt teams... The very BEST case scenario for the c0cks is that of nowhere a running game shows up, receivers emerge, and Stephen Garcia stays out of trouble and grows into some form of a quarterback... maybe with some huge miracles South Carolina could go 9-3... but to be straight with you, I am seeing 4-8 right now, with the potential to go 2-10. Defense only takes you so far... see our team last year for example.

Ole Miss will not be that high, Kentucky will not go bowling, nor will Arkansas. Vandy and SC will go to the lower bowls in their place. UT will win probably 8 games- beat someone they shouldn't (on paper) and lose one they shouldn't...wherever 8-4 sends you depending on the conference W/L.
