Holdsclaw out after surgery

Atlanta Dream forward Chamique Holdsclaw is listed as day-to-day by the team after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on her right knee.

The former Tennessee Lady Vol All-American did not accompany the team on a trip to Detroit for a game against the Shock on Thursday night.

Holdsclaw had missed the previous two games because of soreness in her knee. Before that she had started all 25 games and was the Dream’s leading scorer, averaging 13.9 points per game.

Bummer! What a shame for this to happen after she had made such a great comeback and done so much to turn her team around! Best of luck with your recovery, 'Mique!
