Tyler Bray will take his official visit to Tennessee this weekend.

The quarterback from Kingsbury (Calif.) High School confirmed the plans via text message to the News Sentinel on Monday.

Bray, who committed to San Diego State in July, has been one of the fastest-rising prospects in the nation thanks to impressive showings at summer camps.

"I'm still committed to San Diego State but I'm making my decision after the visit," the 6-foot-6, 185-pounder texted.

Bray said he is only considering San Diego State and UT.

The Vols made Bray a top priority when they missed out on a handful of quarterback prospects who committed elsewhere, lastly Jesse Scroggins of Lakewood (Calif.) High School. Scroggins committed to Southern California in July.

Bray is considered a prospect with tremendous upside. Gaining weight will be a top priority for the slender standout when he enrolls in college.

Rivals upgraded Bray to the 229th best overall prospect in the nation and 14th best pro-style quarterback prospect when its list was revised in late July. Scout ranks Bray as the 22nd best quarterback in the nation.
