Wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins from El Camino Community College in Torrance, Calif., has signed his letter of intent with Tennessee and will enroll in January.
Thompkins and his teammate, quarterback Matt Simms, are the only two signees expected to sign on today, the first day the NCAA allows junior college mid-termers to sign.
Tight end/defensive lineman Ken Adams from Copiah-Lincoln in Wesson, Miss., has said he will postpone his decision. He is also considering Auburn and North Carolina.
Arizona State defensive lineman/linebacker commitment Bruce Irvin from Mt. San Antonio Community College in Walnut, Calif., has also decided to postpone his decision in order to visit UT this weekend.

Kenbrell looks like a men among boys on the film ive saw of him, granted he is playing against junior college competition. He definetly looks like a solid D1 talent...let me rephrase that, solid "SEC" talent.

Looks good on film, but with these juco kids it is always a risk in the classroom.
V_O_L_S_GO_VOLS_GO writes:
LOL, I don't think you have to ask. They'll be here soon, I'm sure; they sit there at their computers all day in their jobless, sad, swampy lives, waiting for recruiting fodder to chew on. Buncha horses arses... :)

Our mission: post this link EVERYWHERE on the web, send it to newspapers, sportswriters, digg it, etc...if we do, it WILL go national, and when parents see these pictures of Florida committments with guns, bandanas over their faces, gang signs, etc, they will not let their kids go there. Let's blow their recruiting class up!!! - http://13psi.com/who-are-the-gators-r...

Don't worry, they've already tried to debunk it on the Simms commitment article, saying that "they're only soft verbals and one or two of them is looking at FSU and UT."
LOL Florida recruit FAIL.
FEARinSEC writes:
I especially liked the link in the upper right hand corner that says, "Pete Thamel follows the Gators".
It won't be long before the "hostess-gate" becomes the "Thamel-Meyer Conspiracy"!!

Read it, and thanks. Good stuff. I feel UT will be fine on nsd. Developing players and dealing with next year's sched will be more important than picking up or losing a couple 'stars'.

It would be GREAT if the media would cover this story, but I am afraid they won't as "coach whyner" and his bunch of orange and blue punks are media darlings, that would tarnish their fragile egos and image. All of the Florida teams have always got way more credit, glory and favoritism than they actually deserve. In contrast we never get the respect we should. G.B.O.

he looks like a man among boys in the JC ranks - but we all know he's going to have to prove himself against SEC competition until he gets major props
CoachAl writes:
Dude, we were media darlings late 90's. Got screwed on Heisman by a d-back maybe due to over-exposure. Things kinda cycle. Fla going down soon I hope, but they recruiting their butts off. Go Vols!

I didn't see anything about a Halloween party in the article, but I can always go back and read it again...SHEESH!!! It's still amusing though...AND I don't have to lay off because I have every right to comment on about an article..

GOOD LINK!!!
Pete Thamel has also witten so many gushing stories about the Florida Gators and Tim Tebow that it led one Gators blogger to refer to him as the “program’s most talented chronicler.” After Thamel’s prediction of a Gator blowout over Tennessee in this year’s contest didn’t come to fruition, he met with Meyer in his campus office the following morning. Here is the resulting article which blamed the lack of a blowout on the Flu and “Tennessee’s apparent lack of interest in actually winning the game” One thing is clear..Pete Thamel and Urban Meyer have a relationship.
^^^^^MMMMMMM < WHAT KINDA RELATIONSHIP???
i'm thinking the same kind as post-in-waitings, a dude on (or in) dude
