Stricklen will play against Duke

Tennessee Lady Vols guard Shekinna Stricklen, who suffered a partial dislocation of her right patella Thursday against Alabama, practiced Sunday and will play Monday night against Duke.

I totally disagree. Coach Summitt would NEVER let a player play unless the medical staff approved it. She is not desperate and she would never pressure the medical staff. Duke is not a member of the SEC and the SEC is our first hurdle.

If Kinna plays, it will be because she is ready and the kid is TOUGH !

Not a chance.

For all decisions on whether a recovering player is able to play, Pat defers to Jenny Moshak. Moshak, and by extension Pat, would NEVER allow a player to play who was not medically ready to do so.

In another thought, why on earth would she be desperate? You don't win championships in February, especially in a random out-of-conference game.

Pat doesn't do "desperation." When you hold 8 national titles and the best players in the nation beg to play for you, you know it is just a matter of time before you will put it all together and do it again. She will only play if she is ready to play, especially after Baugh's injury.

chances are they will lose this game anyway. why take the chance with 5 tough sec games remaining.

Is she just in there to scare Duke? Broken Arrow says so, yes, my friends , it is true, we will trick them into thinking we are going all out, and they will tire out and foul out, from all of the tension and from all of the noise. The lady vols are much better than people around the country think, only we really know that this team is steaming on and on and on and on!!!

only thing steaming on this team is the top of summitt's head. the Ipod girls get a wakeup call.

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT Pat isn't desperate like "gino"

Second that! Pat had already said that if she had to do without Shekinna tonight she would rather do that than to be without her for the rest of the season and post-season. If Jenny had said NO that would be the end of it and she would sit out tonight. Pat and her staff hasn't won 8 national championships and 1000 + games by being 'desperate'. GO LADY VOLS!!! Kick butt Shekinna!!
