Tennessee senior Chris Paisley has been named Golfweek’s Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 9-13.
The England native recorded rounds of 68-66-67 for a 12-under 201 and a three-shot victory at the Arizona Intercollegiate Feb. 3. With the victory, Paisley improved 17 spots in the Golfweek/Sagarin College rankings to No. 15.
His 54-hole total tied a record for the second-lowest in school history.
Paisley leads the Vols with a 70.87 scoring average and has recorded three top-10 finishes and 11 rounds of par-or-better this season.
Next on the schedule for Tennessee is the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational at Sawgrass Country Club in Jacksonville, Fla., Feb. 22-24.
