Freshman Nathalie Mansson shot an even-par 72 on the final day of the Wildcat Invitational to lead the Tennessee women's golf team to an eighth-place finish in Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico.
Mansson finished with a 3-over 219 total to finish tied for 12th among 89 participants.
No. 3 UCLA (869) won the tournament, which featured nine of the 17 teams in the Top 25, by nine shots over No. 1 Arizona State and No. 2 Southern California. UT shot 909.
New Mexico’s Jodi Ewart and USC’s Lizette Salas tied for medalist with three-day totals of 213.
