There was a Phillip Fulmer sighting on Thursday.

Fulmer, who was forced to resign after 17 seasons as football coach at Tennessee, was working as a studio analyst for ESPN for its bowl coverage on Thursday night.

Fulmer didn’t try to re-invent himself for a television job, sticking to a straight script.

If there was one thing different about Fulmer it was the choice of his tie: blue.
