Fulmer to work on Signing Day for CBS College Sports Network

Former Tennessee football coach Phillip Fulmer will be a guest analyst on CBS College Sports Network’s signing day coverage on Feb. 4.

Fulmer will join recruiting analyst Tom Lemming and several others.

CBS coverage begins with a one-hour special at 11 a.m. followed by four hours of continuous coverage from 3-7 p.m.

Fulmer did some work as a studio analyst for ESPN earlier this month on bowl games.

Don't take this too seriously. Davis is the south end of a north bound donkey.

Is it because you don't want to see Trent Richardson and Tana Patrick don an orange ballcap clad with a power T?

Kiddin with ya, bama.

Courtney (or is it Brittany?)-- this is getting old.
"Silent commits"-- please. Don't embarrass yourself or your family. Coach Fulmer (or should I say "your dad") was a really good coach back in the day, and most Vol fans will remember his days as HC fondly for the most part. I think he might be a really good commentator for espn, or at least a lot better one than Lou Holtz has been.
Now, the head coach for UT is Lane Kiffin. If he is successful, then that means that Tennessee is successful. TRUE Vol fans want that to happen.

I am sorry but where are you getting this info on the "silent 5 star" commits Fulmer had???????? I checked the Website regularly and we didnt even have any 5 star recruits visiting under Fulmer so may want to check that info again! We were sitting at about 14 when Fulmer was fired we dropped to nearly 20 and are now at around 12! So looks like in 2 months ole Kiffy has not done to awful bad!

What do you mean "the excuses and finger pointing will begin." You've been doing that since the day Kiffin was hired.

You've said you went to UT, but you've never answered the question "Who is your team?"

vols_sec_1 writes:

Finebaum's show is garbage. He bashes every single coach in the SEC except Saban. Saban's wife better be on the lookout because Finebaum might try making a move on Saban. It is one of the most biased radio shows you will ever listen too. Unfortunatly he is the only moron on the radio talking about sports where i live.. For you guys who cheer for "the SEC" even when its BAMA in a bowl game or whatever they are playing... your NOT a Vol. Vols NEVER.. EVER.. go for Bama. PERIOD.

No offense to yourself or any other Vol fans in the state, or even our Bama guest intended.

I have listened to the guy one time and it sounded exactly like the Springer show. He was laughing at his call-in guests same as Springer. Wished people had a little more pride than to subject themselves to that kind of ridicule.

Scout and Rivals don't always have the info. We had moses, boyd and several others in the fold. But who cares? What's done is done. We move on. We will be better in the long run with what we are getting, what they are doing when they get here and certainly what we will get in the next few years.

get over it....Fulmer got it how he deserved....just like when he was involved in ditching Majors at the same point of the season with a winning record and bowl team...but that was 17 years ago and doubt you were born then....

possibly, but UT just endured a MAJOR CHANGE UP in the Athletics Dept. They faced short deadlines, with a new staff. I don't know, I guess all we can do is see feb 4th, and next season. I think next year's signing day will be the true test. Kiff has also brought in recruits who had no desire to be at UT until he came, so it is a toss up to me. Fulmer was a proven winner, Kiff will have to prove himself a winner.

If he doesn't do well, I think you're right, fans will get angry again. Each year just seems to get worse.

I'm a UT Fan, so I'll back them no matter what. All we can do is hope, and wait.

How will the nay sayers feel if Kiff & co win 9 games? It's all about w vs l's.

We'll see if you are right, that could be very interesting to see how Rocky Top responds if that happens.

Interesting analysis....

Yea, I'm pretty sure you have to have DirectTV to get CBS college sports.
Thanks for the link, though. I'll try that.

Because this is a free country fulmer can do what he pleases. If you don't want to watch him then don't. But the man got a contract that paid him $6M as a buyout. Good for him. Maybe if you spent more time working at your job and less time complaining about what others have you would be successful too
