RB Malcome commits to Georgia

A hectic football recruiting month for the University of Georgia ended Tuesday with yet another pledge. Running back Kendrun Malcome of Southwest DeKalb High School in Decatur, Ga., committed to play for the Bulldogs.

Malcome is Georgia's 12th commitment for the 2010 signing class and the eighth in June. The 6-foot, 213-pounder had scholarship offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma and Tennessee and ultimately picked the Bulldogs over Florida and Oklahoma.

Scout.com rates Malcome the No. 27 running back nationally, while Rivals.com rates him No. 31.

I really don't see why you enjoy wasting your time posting on a Vol fan website bashing our staff. I really wish you and all the Gator fans on here would get a life and grow up a little.

Whats the difference in Kiffin's comments and you referring "Specialty Ed (Orgeron)" to special ed? Guess you mocking kids and adults with a disorders is a way better comment right? O, and I'm assuming calling Nukeese a "weak-minded" person was a compliment?

When you mature a little more we'll talk. Go Vols!!

Kiffin never insulted the entire state. He just had a problem with one school, and just the administration not even the football coaches at Pahokee. Please remove the tissue from your eye in regards to Richardson. It's beyond me why you Gator fans are still upset about this.

I dont have a problem with Mark Richt but lets not canonize him for Sainthood just yet. He has had more players arrested and in trouble than any other sec coach during his tenure (this includes FL, TN, and AL). He has been a hypocite concerning discipline, drug use, rape etc

Ignorant, ignorant, comment.

Name one discipline problem he has had concerning rape. You can’t just throw that word around so carelessly. And how is his character called into question because of what a 19 year old kid does with the 90% of the time he’s not under his watch. As far as discipline problems go, just about every one of his players who gets into trouble with the law ends up serving a suspension. Every year UGA has at least a few players who miss the first 2 games of the season because of suspensions. Name me one time Fulmer ever suspended a kid who could help him win. Bottom line is, if the kid was a backup or walk-on, he would get the book thrown at him. If he was a starter (I’m talking about you Arian Foster) he would get a slap on the wrist and play in the next game.

Thanks. Actually it was my step-son, but honestly, and this may be a little self-centered, but that's the only incident that concerns me. The man was mean to the child for no reason right in front of my face. I have no use for him and if I ever meet him again in the same situation...I'm going to jail. As far as the gas pumping remark, I don't believe it for one second that Coach Kiffin said that. The whole fax machine thing was said because he didn't trust the people of that school. There is nothing you or anybody is going to say to sway my opinion of that arsehole in Athens. I'm sorry.

Whats Fulmer got to do with this? You do know he`s not coaching now don`t you? CR is a good recruiter, but he has to be the worst coach in the SEC, No championships with the talent he has had! Bobby Johnson could won the NC with the talent georgia has had!

Tenn_Dawg writes:

Georgia’s recruiting has heated up as of late with a 5-star safety, two 4-star OL and a 4-star WR committing in the last two weeks. Of course ya’ll know stars don’t always translate onto the field and signing day is a long way off so my optimism is tempered. This new RB commit sounds like a nice one. Good size, good cutback ability and decent speed. Much like the RB you guys got out of GA last year…but this kid may be a little faster. The recruiting efforts in FL have been picking up b/c of John Lilly. He was FSU’s recruiting coordinator for a number of years and has been with UGA for almost two. It looks like his FL connections are finally paying some dividends. If Garner ever leaves he will probably assume Garner’s title of recruiting co-ord. Again it is exciting but some of my favorite bulldogs (Greene, Pollack and Thomas Davis) were 3-stars and less guys coming out of HS so we shall see.

I don’t recall Georgia having anybody get in trouble concerning rape. So I don’t know were that came from. Yep…numerous players were in trouble last year but most of those incidents were drinking underage incidents. It is university policy that alcohol related 1st time offenses get 10% of the season (two games), 2nd gets a season and the 3rd gets kicked off the team. Anybody that gets in any kind of trouble usually gets at least two games.

CMR is far from a saint but I do think that he is a stand-up for the most part as far as I can tell. I’m not to saying that he would not ever be rude to someone on a bad day or something either but a general statement of he hates kids seems very out of character, especially considering he adopted two kids from Russia. One of them with a severe facial deformity. I have never met the guy but know people who have (Dawg fans and rival fans) and enjoyed the experience. He could very well be somewhat of a jerk b/c most coaches and athletes are to some extent or he could have been caught in a bad moment and said or did something out of character. All I know is that he has stated publically that he is a Christian so that makes him and I brothers in The LORD.

Again...I read that here all the time and at the same time I read that all the UGA players are over-hype and not really that good.

The fact is that Georgia won a ton of games with a 3-star QB, 2-star FB converted to DE, a RB that could not hold Walker's or Jamal's jockstrap and 1-star saftey that we stole from Grambling. As of late they had consecutive 10 win seasons with an OL littered with freshman, red-shirt freshman and sophmores both years.

UT's years of bad breaks, double-digit arrest, unreasonable injuries, bad coaching, playing in-experienced players, etc. result in 5-6 and 5-7. Georgia's seasons like that during the CMR era are at worst 9 win seasons. I have been a fan for a long time so the Goff and Donnon yrs are still fresh for me and although I would like another SEC Championship times a pretty good.

I'll keep taking the 10 win seasons, BCS games sprinkled with a SECCG appearances and if we are lucky enough sneek into a NC game sometime in the future so be it.

Georgia should be in the hunt for an NC every year. Under-coached.

Correction. Roddy Jones. Roddy White is the receiver for the Falcons. Roddy Jones is the cat Willie Martinez couldn't figure out how to stop.

Correction...Roddy Jones and Johnathon Dwyer are still running. If there is one thing I could change about the Georgia program it would be bringing Van Gorder back. I would take Chief, Cola's DC, Strong, anybody but Willie. However I guess we are stuck with him for another.

No problem with Tech. As strange as it sounds I like them too. Now if they start whipping the Dawgs consistently then I may change my tune. Techies just wish they had the campus and co-eds that Georgia has plus the thought of having to work for Georgia grads really irritates them to death.

Speaking of techies my printer toner needs changing.

I can agree with most everything you just said dude. Except for the working for UGA grads part. I imagine a Tech diploma will get you a better job than delivering pizzas in Athens.

Tenn_Dawg writes:

The University of Georgia stacks up very well overall against the other public universities across the country (ususally in the top 20) and some areas of study are tops in the country. So I differ on the delivering pizzas. Of course we all know you make our own way regardless of where you went to school so I guess many people with diplomas from universities all over the US are delivering pizzas, cleaning toilets and taking orders. No where on mine did it say "You are entitled to make 6 figures, marry a hot women and retire at 45".
