HOOVER, Ala. -- Kentucky head coach Rich Brooks practically cackled at the question.
"You guys are trying to narrow it down and get someone to spill their guts, aren't you?"
Well, yeah.
"It isn't me," he said.
Dang.
"Good luck in your search," he said.
Looks like we'll need it.
But what's SEC Media Days without a mystery? Last year it was Phil Fulmer's misplaced subpoena. This year, it's Tim Tebow's missing ballot.
Some SEC head coach didn't make Tebow his first-team all-SEC quarterback.

So for a unanimous pick I assume a player needs 11 votes? I have heard that a coach cannot pick his own player, so obviously Urban didn't vote for Tebow. Does this mean he received 10 votes. How did Berry receive a unanimous pick, was it because he had all votes with the exception of Kiffin? Maybe dumb questions, but I haven't seen anyone ask.

Yes..... to be unanimous you have to have all the votes that are possible. Therefore you have all the other coaches votes since your own coach cannot vote for you

Kiffin has already said that he voted for Tebow. I think it was Spurrier....

Folks can you THINK!
Why would Houston Nutt vote for Tebow when he has Snead. And, realistically Snead just may be the best fundamental Quarterback in the league.

I hope Kiffin voted for nick Stephens. I hope we crush Tim Tebow. I know, I know, the chances of that happening are slim and none, but I live in the district where Tebow went to high school and I have had just about enough Tim Tebow. This is six years now and enough is enough. I kinda hoped after his experiences in the Phillipines kast year he would feel the need to give up football for urology but no such luck. I was at an FCA golf breakfast a couple of years and sat at a table next to him I remarked then I was probably the closest someone from Tennessee had been to him in a couple of years. Just leave Tebow, and be quick about it.
