First-year Tennessee football coach Lane Kiffin talks about the upcoming season during the SEC Media Days in Hoover, Ala. on Friday,

The Old Ball Coach and the new ball coach took the stage Friday at SEC Media Days.

Old Ball Coach Steve Spurrier fessed to not voting for Tim Tebow for All-SEC and Tennessee’s new coach Lane Kiffin stole the limelight from the Gamecock coach noted for his one-liners.

Note to SEC Media Day planners: Never schedule Kiffin and Spurrier on the same day. It’s like too headliners at the same concert.

If the SEC Media Days are an indicator, it’s going to be an interesting football (in case you had any doubts).

Here’s another roundup of what was being written and said in Hoover, Ala. They’re getting excited.

I can't wait for the season to begin. It feels like it has been a hundred years since Fulmer hired Dave Clawson.

Don't forget battery operated jock strap Witchie. Us older folks need to keep the toys warm during crisp, fall days. Just Google Ball warmers for info.

Go Vols.

First off, South Florida remains the Hurricanes play ground. You can put as many billboards as you like down there and you still will be lucky to snatch a kid away at Miami Northwestern from the hurricanes. Secondly, I hope the signs are in spanish, other wise half the population below Ft. Lauderdale will have no clue what its about. In the end, schools like Tennessee can put up billboards throughout the country if they wanted to but that isn't going to attract recruits. Ultimately its what happens on the field that matters and for each billboard UT shows a recruit, Meyer will just show them a championship ring.

p.s better get those billboards up in georgia in a hurry, Meyer just got his 16th commitment from one of the top rated RBs in Mack Brown yesterday out of Lithonia, Ga.

Maybe because the only people who seem to act like they are offended about a kid being arrested from a suspended license are rival fans. Is it stupid to not get the situation fixed and get caught again? Sure, but in the end, it stems from getting parking tickets. What exactly is the media going to "drill" Meyer about regarding this?? Doe who is a starting LB has been suspended indefinitly. But Im sure from you all it should be a more harsh penalty right? lol!

Wonder how long that billboard in South Florida will last .... about as long as one in Cinton promoting Tebow?

Who wrote this article? "Too"? Down here we would say "two".

Great work, NewsSenseless! You had actually gone multiple days without grammar and spelling errors. I thought maybe you had hired an editor that actually read your garbage. I guess that was wishful thinking on my part. I guess my standards are way too high when I expect newspaper writers to be able to spell and utilize complete sentences.

CLK had a great presence. I definitely liked the orange tie - classy look. It is the most impressed I have been since watching him come aboard. He had the look of a winner.

BTW: I don't write Coach Urban Meyer as an acronym such as CLK...

Uh huh. Look who is talking. Where is Linda Bensel Meyer these days? Ran her off for blowing the whistle. I'll miss Fulmer doing his "investigations" within the program. What a joke.

In reading the article above on the Florida Gator (Dustin Doe)....As stated in that article...."This is the 25th reported player arrest under Coach Urban Meyer, including the fifth in 2009." For the record...TN has none so far under Kiffin....And counting. In compared to this...I will take 4 or 5 secondary voilations over the arrests happening down south.

Wow dude, I went back and read most of your previous posts, and I must say that you are the definition of a racist! You actually defend "cheese" for his crimes, and completely disrespect any non-black athlete that has played at TN. I hope you dont have children.
