AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn tailgaters who would rather fork over cash than pack their cars with coolers and chairs are in luck.
Auburn has partnered with a company called Tailgate Guys for fully loaded tailgate spots with prices ranging up to $4,275 for the eight-game home schedule. Individual game prices run from $300 to $1,250.
Packages include tents, chairs and tables set up and taken down for the tailgaters, along with a guaranteed spot. Those who really want to tailgate in style can pay extra for catering and parking.
The designated stress-free tailgating area is near Jordan-Hare Stadium and the new student center in an area called Campus Green.
The area will have 70 tailgate sites. About half have already been sold.

Last...or next to last...in the SEC East.

NC State in raleigh is doing this same sort of thing as well. Spots start at $2000 for the season I think. Seems kinda rediculous considering some of the "Part Lots" are located in obsure places such as behind RBC Center with absolutely no view of other tailgaters or carter finley stadium for that matter. Take a look at where the spots are located...
PL = Party Lots

I know this has nothing to do with Tennessee Football, but it seems lots of schools are doing this same type of thing. Maybe its being outsourced to some company

Does this mean no more BYOB parties at Auburn?

Not sure why that's 'Govolsxtra' news...
I guess my personal thoughts would be that it's an interesting idea, but it sounds like a much better deal for the private company than the university.

Indeed. Especially while using off brand T.P.

It may not now, but don't be surprised if the University doesn't take a look at it. It is a lot of $$ but, as a tailgate host myself, considering how early I have to get on campus to get a nice grassy, shady spot, it might be tempting.
