It would be nice to get a story on Jajuan. Considering he didn't play profesionally this past season, I wonder what direction he is wanting to take his life in. I know he was at the Grizzlies' try outs, but not playing professionally normally indicates your priorities have shifted away from the sport.
Curious to find out.... one of my favorite players because of his energy and the fact he started out as a walk on.

He was one of the last to be cut by Dallas and he didn't play overseas or in the NBDL? I wasn't aware of that. Ur right, a story would be nice.

Don't be too quick to quote me on that, but I believe that is correct. Those first few overachieving Pearl teams will always be among my favorites. That is why its nice to see guys like CJ doing well.

ahhhh wikipedia, how we love your uncitable, yet mostly accurate information.
Smith was cut by the NBA club the Dallas Mavericks on October 22, 2008. At the end of October 2008, he signed a contract with the Slovenian League club, Union Olimpija of the Euroleague, through the end of 2008-09 season, but he left the team in less than a week due to personal reasons. He signed a 45-days contract with French League club Elan Bearnais Pau-Orthez on December 29, 2008.
Must have read about him leaving the Slovenian team. Wonder if it was Ljubljana or Koper....

So I guess thia means the Grizzlies did not like what they saw in Lofton? News about that would be nice

It will be fun to watch those guys light it up again. I agree on the 1st Pearl team being UT's version of the Unforgettables. They played with heart, guts, and no fear whatsoever.
