Tennessee senior Caitlin Whoriskey reached the second round of the USTA Brownsville (Texas) Women’s Tournament this past weekend before losing to Brittany Augustine, 2-6, 6-1, 7-5. Whoriskey had made it through two rounds of qualifying and beat Vivian Segnini. 6-1, 6-4, in the first round of the main draw. She and doubles partner Taka Bertrand reached the semifinals before losing to Ester Goldfeld and Macall Harkins 6-4, 6-2.
