Carson-Newman College will play at Tennessee in a women's college basketball exhibition game for the 2009-10 season.
The game will take place Nov. 5 at Thompson-Boling Arena. Tipoff is 7 p.m.
It will be the sixth consecutive year the two teams will play.
The Lady Eagles, which went 19-11 last season and earned a berth to the NCAA tournament, will travel to two other Division I schools for exhibition games before starting regular season play.
C-N will begin its exhibition slate on Nov. 2 at Middle Tennessee State University and will wrap up preseason play on Nov. 8 at Appalachian State.
C-N opens regular season play with a home opener against Anderson on Nov. 15.

You are right in that CN will be overmatched ,but also pointed out that CN will pull strength fom the David vs. Goliath matchup.
