Tailback Bryce Brown was at Tennessee's practice on Friday, fueling speculation that the No. 1 prospect for the 2009 signing class may play for the Vols.
He was wearing a large orange parka.
Brown, who is from Wichita (Kan.) East High School, took an official visit to UT last month.
Brown will make his college choice Monday. Besides Tennessee, he is also considering LSU, Kansas State and Oregon. He originally committed to Miami.
Brown and his handler Brian Butler have declined media requests from the News Sentinel.
There hasn't been an update on Butler's Web site, potentialplayers.com, concerning a visit to UT or any other school this weekend. Brown has used the Web site as his method of communicating with the media.

If he sees the scrimmage tonight at Neyland with somewhere around 10,000 fans for a scrimmage, that would have a significant impact on him I think.

One thing that puts Oregon up higher on the list than it would be otherwise-- the poor excuses for defenses in the PAC 10. His stats would be through the roof if he decided to be a Duck.
Of course, if he decided to play in the SEC, he might be better-prepared to face the kind of real defenses he would see in the NFL.

Sorry to hear that Ctown. I work in healthcare which is supposed to be a good place to be, but with obama constantly talking about healthcare reform, I'm not so sure its such a great place to be. When Hillary reformed our healthcare system in 98 everyone working for the co I was with at the time had to take a 25% cut just to keep a job.Just 2 months before that I could have gone anywhre I wanted. With all that said, I've heard it's down to Oregon and UT with LSU coming in third. Mostly because of the reasons that have been stated already. If UT pulls this off, it'll be a Richardson size coup.
