Tennesee golfers second in Schenkel tournament

Tennessee placed four golfers in the top 20 on its way to a second-place finish in the Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational at Statesboro, Ga.

South Carolina won the event with an 865 team score. The Vols were at 867, tied with North Carolina State.

David Holmes, who finished with a 67 Sunday, joined teammates Darren Renwick (73) and Chris Paisley (73) in a tie for 14th individually at 217.

Robin Wingardh had a 74 for a 218 and a tie for 20th.
