I think enough has been said. It's time to play the game and leave it on the field. You lead by example and I hope he reassures the team that talkin' smack was only the opening fireworks. I am not afraid of gator fans but I am concerned that it may lead to an ugly episode of off-the -field violence, maybe in the stands, which would only make both schools look trashy. cabbage, on the other hand makes GREAT sauercraut, and is very enjoyable in 'pigs in a blanket' dinners.
the real teash-talkers in the garden are sweet potatoes and white beans. Never gave a damn for EITHER of them. Don't care much for those nasty black-eyd peas either, or any other pea, for that matter.
But, hey, I'm all for your fired field corn, green onions, tomatoes, asparagus, broccoli, cucumbers, squash caserole, peanuts, beets....all good foods to know and respect.

No, talk is cheap. Focus on the first game and get a W out of it. Focus on learning the plays from this new staff. Focus on improving the record from last year. Focus more on communicating on the field with each other rather than talking smack to the other team. Trash talk has an air of undiscipline about it.

Wow, I can honestly say I've never seen football fever reach such a fevered pitch this early into the offseason. It's hard to believe Kiffin was capable of being such a polarizing character. Love him or hate him, noone can deny he's one of the top stories every week on every single college football site I know. I went to lunch Wednesday with a group of UT, UGA, UF and USC fans and UT was the topic the entire time.
Am I the only one, or does he remind you of Spurrier? Spurrier used to say some crazy stuff like Bama had the 'best team money could buy' and the whole citrus bowl is spelled with u.t. - I think what irritates many of the UF faithful so much is they've never been on the receiving end of being 'Spurriered.'

Obviously you all are new to this. This whole ordeal is no different than last years Georgia situation. And UGA fan said the same thing...Meyer spoke about it in his book. Florida was going to not be focused blah blah blah. Say what you want about Meyer, he knows how to motivate and the right buttons to push with his players. Dont think for one moment the players wont be focused on their job. This is a experienced group who have won a national title, not a bunch of players who have never started an SEC game.
