The U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam tournament directors released the 2009 men’s basketball tournament field and bracket Thursday. Joining Tennessee in the eight-team field for the 10th annual event are Boston College, DePaul, East Carolina, Northern Iowa, Purdue, Saint Joseph’s and South Dakota State. The tournament takes place Nov. 20-23 at the University of the Virgin Islands in St. Thomas.
The tournament tips off Friday, Nov. 20, with Northern Iowa playing DePaul, Tennessee facing East Carolina, Boston College battling Saint Joseph’s and South Dakota State meeting Purdue.
Two games will be played on Saturday, Nov. 21 (losing teams from Friday) and Sunday, Nov. 22 (winning teams from Friday). Competition on Monday, Nov. 23 will be structured similar to the first day, with the championship game taking place last.
All games will be played at thet University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center in Charlotte Amalie.
At least four of the games at this year’s tournament will be televised nationally by Fox Sports.

"we" as you refer to Tennessee (i guess) do not set the field for tourneys believe it or not. For the strength of schedule however take a look at the last 3 years. A "2" doesn't mean second easiest schedule.
