Summitt, Pearl, Kiffin to greet Warlick and Caldwell

Tennessee Lady Vols associate head women's basketball coach Holly Warlick and UCLA coach Nikki Caldwell are scheduled to return from their weeklong motorcycle trip Saturday at 6 p.m. at Market Square.

The 1,500-mile round trip to New Orleans and back was dedicated to raising funds and awareness for a cure for breast cancer. It's the third annual excursion for Warlick and Caldwell, a former Tennessee player/assistant coach.

Their return tonight will feature Lady Vols coach Pat Summitt, men's basketball coach Bruce Pearl and UT football coach Lane Kiffin.

National recording artists SellarsWray will perform in a free concert.

you're an idiot. I'll try and get an official letter of appology from KNS for wasting your time.

Anyone who dedicates that amount of time to raise money for breast cancer is well deserved news. If you have ever lost a family member to cancer, the response here would be more positive.

I agree. They are doing something amazing and raising a lot of money to combat a hideous disease. Almost eveyone is touched by cnacer in one way or another. Please be respectful with your comments.

These women deserve respect and praise for what they are doing to help fight cancer. I doubt there is anyone who hasn't had a friend or relative suffer with it.

Thank you Holly & Nikki, you are both a class act and true to your commitment to help fight this disease.

You had a classless post yesterday with your posting on giving shortage.

SUGGEST REMOVAL OF POST AND YOU SINCE YOUR POST ARE: Defamatory/abusive and this article OFF TOPIC.

I've lost one relative to this diseaes. As an earlier response to your drivel said," your tune would be different if this hit home with a family member or good friend."

Went to school with Holly and all I remember and have seen from her since is classy Lady Vol.

Thanks Ladies for your contributions on and off the court!

clueless jerk. How does orientation have anything to do with battling a horrible disease? At least they are up off their duffs doing something for a good cause. How dare you make slanderous statements against men and women trying to raise awareness and money for others battling illness. I dont see your butt out there in the rain and over the long miles trying to save your momma or sister or girlfriend or wife. I guess it is just easier for you to enjoy the benefits and make snide comments about those who bring them to you. Only a coward calls people names.

Filthy-minded haters also receive the benefits of those who so willingly give of their time and efforts to fight this deadly disease?

Wow -- once again, I am amazed at the combination of hatred and cluelessness shown by some human beings. Paladin's comment is so far beyond the pale that it's in its own galaxy.

Congrats to the coaches for raising money to fight breast cancer. It's one of the most insidious diseases out there, often coming back as bone cancer after you think you've got it whipped. Taking time out of your summer vacation to raise money for others is just a great example of caring and class. Thanks, ladies, for making us proud.
