The only road game I go to is S.Car.. My brother-in-law and I go to the S. Car. away games every other year. We watched it from the Hospice House this year, my father was passing. The game wasn't that good, but the family was around my dad, a long-time Vol fan. He introduced me to college football. I am so grateful to him for everything he did for me. He will be missed. If all goes well and if we're still kicking, hopefully we will make the trip next year. GO VOLS!!!

Fair enough, my appoligies for the harsh words...But just a small clarification. No service member of any US military branch has been "forced" to serve since 1973...In my book, the fact that it is all VOLUNTEER (no pun intended) makes these young men women's sacrifice that much more admirable.
We as a nation have grown apathetic to our service members and all they do for us as a nation (generalizing)...I just have a problem with 100 hrs a week coverage of the Vicks, Manny Ramirez's and Madoffs of the world and little to no mention of our "peers" fighting someone else's fight on the other side of the globe.....Sorry for the rant and GO USA/VOLS

Alabama on a two game losing streak. Can't win the big one. Utah absolutely embarrassed them in front of a national audience. That really looked bad. They need to prove they can win games when they count. Remember, year before last they were only 6-6. Not proven winners. Proven toe stumpers(nationally). You have to have more than one winning season in a decade to be considered winners or even to be feared. This will be the Vols first winning year with more soon to follow. Alabama hasn't proven they are in contention for championships yet. They're at least two or three years away at best. GO VOLS!!!

Remember, they are going to lose some scholarships. Thus, the couple of years away, at best. The recruits are going to look hard and long at these infractions and weigh their choices carefully. They want to have a chance to win. They are going to be a little thin for a couple or 5 years. This will be as thin as the Vols will be for the foreseen future. We are going to get bigger, better, and faster y'all. Will be a major force in 2010 and beyond. GO VOLS!!!
