Tennessee women’s athletic director Joan Cronan is resting at her Knoxville home after being injured in a car accident Saturday south of Hattiesburg, Miss., UT women’s director of media relations Debby Jennings said Wednesday.
Cronan suffered two compression fractures in her back. She flew back to Knoxville and received a medical diagnosis but was not hospitalized, Jennings said.
Because of the injuries she is not attending the SEC spring meetings this week in Destin, Fla. She was on her way to those meetings when the accident occurred.

well she has been sued for mistreating a couple of ex-coaches she has fired in the past under dubious circumstances...
It seems to me Pat Summit runs the woman's athletic programs and not Cronan...otherwise they wouldn't and shouldn't have cancelled their games with UConn...
So I don't think she's the most dynamic woman's AD out there.
