Tennessee women’s athletic director Joan Cronan is resting at her Knoxville home after being injured in a car accident Saturday south of Hattiesburg, Miss., UT women’s director of media relations Debby Jennings said Wednesday.
Cronan suffered two compression fractures in her back. She flew back to Knoxville and received a medical diagnosis but was not hospitalized, Jennings said.
Because of the injuries she is not attending the SEC spring meetings this week in Destin, Fla. She was on her way to those meetings when the accident occurred.
