The Tennessee women's cross country team was bypassed once again for an NCAA championship berth.
However, senior Katie Van Horn received an at-large berth and will join senior Jackie Areson, who was an automatic qualifier after finishing third in the South Regional on Saturday. Van Horn was 10th, one spot out of an automatic bid. The NCAA championship takes place Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, Ind. It will be the second time that Van Horn and Areson have advanced.
The No. 29 Lady Vols finished third at the region meet behind No. 3 Florida and No. 9 Florida State.
