Cameron Rundles made both ends of a 1-and-1 with 3.1 seconds remaining to give Wofford a 60-57 victory over Georgia on Tuesday in Athens, Ga.
A desperation 3-pointer at the buzzer by Georgia's Trey Thompkins near the Bulldogs bench was no good, as the Terriers posted their first victory over Georgia in eight tries.
Corey Godzinski scored 13 points for Wofford (1-1) and was one of four Terriers in double digits. Jason Dawson added 12 points, Noah Dahlman had 11 and Jamar Diggs chipped in 10.
Georgia (1-1) was led by Travis Leslie, who had 17 points, and Thompkins followed with 14 points. They were the only Bulldogs in double digits.
Louisville 96, Arkansas 66: Reginald Delk scored 20 points in a reserve role to double his previous career high and sparked key surges in both halves, helping No. 20 Louisville crush depleted Arkansas in the Hall of Fame Showcase in St. Louis.
Jared Swopshire added 10 points and 11 rebounds for his first career double-double and Rick Pitino and the Cardinals (1-0) easily bested one of his former players, John Pelfrey, to win in his 750th career game.
Rotnei Clarke had 16 points for Arkansas (1-1), four days after scoring an SEC-record 51 points with 13 3-pointers in the opener against Alcorn State.
LSU 71, Western Kentucky 60: Bo Spencer had 28 points to help LSU (3-0) pull away from visiting Western Kentucky (1-1).
Mississippi State's Augustus Apologizes: Mississippi State coach Rick Stansbury has suspended forward Kodi Augustus for two games.
The coach announced his decision four days after Augustus blasted Stansbury over his playing time and coaching ability following a season-opening 88-74 loss to Rider. Augustus used two expletives and disparaged Stansbury's coaching after the loss.
The 6-foot-8 junior from Baton Rouge, La., who is expected to be a significant contributor, played just 15 minutes against Rider.
"I talked with the team and apologized to them," Augustus said. "It was immature and I need to grow up and make sure it never happens again. My teammates supported me because we were all frustrated about the loss. I accept my punishment and for the next two games I will be their No. 1 fan."
Stansbury and Augustus clashed last season, but appeared to have worked out their differences.
Alabama's Brock Suspended Indefinitely: Alabama senior guard Anthony Brock has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.
"While we are disappointed in the choices that Anthony made to warrant this suspension," first-year Alabama coach Anthony Grant said, "we remain committed to instilling the discipline and commitment to do what is right and in the best interest of each of our players and our program as a whole."
