Traditions: The last tackle

Looks as if Lane Kiffin is getting into this tradition business.

Heard on the radio there will be a "Last Tackle" this week, probably Thursday.

good sh*t and i agree and this is one of the best kentucky teams we play in years but the tradition keeps on rolling by beating them and going to a bowl game and showing that the sec stands alone with the best football playing in the country gbo

"Cat hockey" I love it.

Happy Thanksgiving.

It's good to see CLK continuing some of the ole traditions set forth by UT over the years. Let's continue the tradition of beating the Cats and make it 25 years in a row! Go Vols!!!

I hate to tell ya this but your "losing to Florida" tradition is coming to a quick close. Tennessee was not losing to Florida, they were losing to Tebow. He is the only thing going for Florida. Next year Florida will simply be an ok team without their halfback quarterback...on that note...GO BIG ORANGE

Now please let us have one as well.

Yeppers. It is no wonder why Coach Meyer was choking with emotion the other day when contemplating a time with no Tebow.

The helmet is creative. I find the bleacher report to be mostly filled with cr@p. It's obvious the writers there are worried that they don't have long to get the jabs in on the Vols before they are groveling for mercy.

Tradition is a crucial starting point for rebuilding. They build pride and team spirit. Our traditions are long a deeply rooted in the team, fans and for that matter national minds. Glad to see Kiffin keep them going.

He's no elephant either. Just a weakly paid staffer for the KNS here to get a rustle out of us. I admit. I bite from time to time, but make no mistake, he's getting paid to be this annoying. Real Florida fans consider him as useless as we do.

Lets hope that a couple of young kids from Tennessee that were not recruited by Tennessee do not come back to haunt us when we play KY. Both are impact players at KY. Go Vols and good luck. We will need it. A Vol fan forever living in SC. o

UF did play football before 91. In fact if UT can count some of their non-consensus mythical national championships as legit then the Gators will count the 84 one also.

did Florida win the National Tittle that year? Don't think so. We won one in 1938(along with 5 other years), Did Florida have a win in football by that year? Oh, and has Florida ever gone undefeated?

LET'S NOT BRAG ABOUT THAT ONE WITH A 7-5 RECORD. OR EVER FOR THAT MATTER. ALL THAT MEANS IS WE WERE THE FIRST LOSER, AND THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH, BUT IT WON'T BE A CONCERN FOR LONG, CAUSE KIFFIN'S GOT THIS TRAIN ROLLING, AND A GATOR ON THE TRACKS AIN'T NOTHING.
