Hardesty....and it's not close.
FWBVol writes:
What's the question here? No disrespect to Eric Berry, he is the best player on the team, but the question is who is the Most Valuable Player? It has to be Hardesty. The offense would really be struggling with Montario.

Many players deserve outstanding player of the game, but in my opion Crompton was the MVP. Yesterday he was everything we could have asked for and more. He was a leader and controlled the game. If not for him things could have been completely different. The other players played their usual game(i.e. Monterio Hardesty-by the way had many NFL type runs in the game). My vote goes to JC. He showed us what he can do when the other players do their thing and he does his. 7-5, 8-5 after bowl victory and #1 recruiting class for 2010. Look out FBS, WHERE BAAACK!

Hardesty. No contest.

Hardesty, but you have to give Dan Williams some love also.

Hardesty has carried the weight of this team all year.
Gotta be him.
FWBVol writes:
Thanks for the correction. Boy do I feel silly. Yes the offense would be struggling WITHOUT Montario.
VolnAL writes:
Hey dufus; the question is MOST VALUABLE PLAYER so far this season.
BubbaJ writes:
Hardesty!

I suppose you have never misread something in your entire life. Oh how I wish I was perfect like you, not! I thought it was asking the MVP for the game, my bad. As for your name calling. I could not care less what your opinion is of me. It really takes a big person to name-call another person that made a simple mistake. Anyway, Go Vols, beat Bama!
murrayvol writes:
The offense would be virtually nonexistant w/o Hardesty.

Hardesty for the season. I am with dufus on the MVP for the game though. Crompton played a hell of a game.

Monte Kiffin.

You also used the word "where" instead of "we're" in the sentence "Look out FBS, WHERE BAAACK!"
(Sorry, I couldn't resist.)
Denvervol4life writes:
Whoever voted for Crompton please smack your self two times.
armyvol22 writes:
This is a hard one to make. The whole defense should be on the list, because without them Tennessee would not be where they are at right now. But Hardesty is the man on the offensive side.
im4davols writes:
How childish of you. Should I mention the fact that you did not use corrent english in you response by leaving out the commas after, "word" and, "of." (Sorry I couldn't resist) What an idiot!
im4davols writes:
I bet you wouldn't vote for JC in the espn All-America play of the week. How sad. You must not be a true Vol fan.

My vote is for Layla

HARDESTY WAS AWESOME . WAY TO GO MONTEY ,CREGGER,
LANE AND DAVID ! GO BIG ORANGE

If I was 77, I probably wouldn't. I graduated in 77, and am only 54. I am also happily married to a woman who is secure enough in our relationship and is not so naive as to think that I don't look when a pretty gal comes in the room. That being said, please let me drool a little. LOL and GBO back at you! BTW, I voted for Eric Berry in this poll. Hardesty is great, and I hope that after a good off season and some conditioning that B Brown will look like the ol' Travis Stephens I remember. I don't think he'll ever be a Jamal or Travis henry. I hope they prove me wrong.
6MillionDollarPumpkin writes:
Nick Reveiz!!! He has more heart than any UT player I have seen. From walk on to starter. That takes more heart than any of us fans have. If you watched him on the sideline saturday, he was coaching as hard as any coach out there. He is not on the list but gets my vote.
WhitePineVol77 writes:
Yeah, I agree on Hardesty, but voted for Berry anyway due to his new NCAA record. For the record, I feel the Vols played as they should, which was something we have all been waiting to see for a long time. I'll be more convinced if we can beat Bammer.
DonJuan writes:
I have not enjoyed watching a UT running back this much since Travis Henry. Montario has carried the offense. But, as good as he has been, I still have to give it to Eric Berry. His role has not been as visible this year (because of how Monte has used him and the fact that no one is trying to throw deep on the UT secondary at all), but he is the leading tackler on one of the best defenses in the nation. How many times has he made three straight tackles to stop a drive?
Actually, I'm not giving him anything, he's earned it.
gatlinvol72 writes:
Berry does not have a new NCAA record. The return he made was a fumble return, not an interception. He is still 15 yards away from matching the record for return yardage for interceptions.
VolAlum2003 (Inactive) writes:
I wish that were true, but the modern grammar rule is that commas are used in that context only when the offset words interrupt sentence flow. For example: My degree is in English, specifically Literature, and I have a minor in linguistics.
Nice try though...go Vols!
