KNOXVILLE — Tyler Smith was never going to be a University of Tennessee basketball lifer. Not with one of the most versatile skill sets in the Southeastern Conference. Not with AAU buddies such as Thaddeus Young, Corey Brewer and Jamont Gordon already playing for pay.
Especially not with young son, Amare, needing clothes and food and daycare.

Wow T. Smith is a class act. That sincerely warms my heart. I'm really glad that, for the most part, UT doesn't have a problem with thug students and anti-professionalism.
I can't wait for basketball season to start! I think it's going to be sick. I hope Renaldo is working as hard on the court as he is on his music.

So here is a perfect example of prejudice/racism. I have talked to Tyler on several occasions and he is the nicest person ever.
Man, you just made yourself look REALLY ignorant.

And yes, Tyler is older, but he has something I'm sure you and other Memphis fans aren't familiar with: LEGITIMATE ELIGIBILITY.

And not one of his wins has been VACATED!!!!!lol

Gotta love that. Good luck and Go Vols!

It's great to have Tyler back in the saddle this year, especially with all the other seniors. His presence gives us a chance to have a great season. I'm really looking forward to rooting for my basketball Volunteers this season.

Thanks, Tyler! I have truly enjoyed your time here with the Vols and one more year will be great! I hope you and the team exceed all expectations and win it all this year. Ky. just thinks they bought they bought the NC w/Calipari!
GO VOLS!!

If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what does. Tyler is all Vol! This is going to be a great season! Go Big Orange!

should have a great season but I hope the fans don't start the "Final Four" talk this yr. That always backfires on the team, brings out a curse!!
