Tennessee football coach Lane Kiffin and recruiting coordinator Ed Orgeron will be going from high school to high school in the Atlanta area on Friday night. And they will use a helicopter to do so.
The UT coaches be aboard a helicopter and land at Martin Luther King High School, which hosts Stephenson from Stone Mountain, Ga., to watch a number of prospects.
MLK tailback Mack Brown is a Florida commitment that UT is heavily recruiting. Juniors DeMarco Robinson and safety Cameron Myers are also prospects that UT has shown interest in.
Stephenson will also field some UT prospects, namely linebacker Tyrone Cornelius, who is committed to Miami. The Vols are also recruiting two juniors from Stephenson: linebacker Jared Boyd and offensive guard Tarik Cook.
UT’s coaches will fly to North Gwinnett High in Suwanee, Ga., to watch highly touted offensive lineman Jawuan James, who visited UT last weekend.
North Gwinnett is hosting Northview, which will field defensive tackle Denzel McCoy and tight end/offensive lineman Cameron Fordham, along with junior quarterback Kane Whitehurst.
