I don't do polls because they mean squat. But I've got to say that I was proud of the way the vols played that game and I think both the Tide and the Gators will be thinking long and hard about their trips to Neyland Stadium next year.

Other than that last kick, you couldn't ask more from this team. Outmatched at nearly every position, they went to bama's house and beat them in every facet of the game...except the one that counted. This was an incredible effort by every player and coach. Bring on the "ball coach"!

Great Game by the Vols. They continue to improve and that's all we fans can ask this year.
As for emotions, I have mixed feelings. I started the game just hoping for a good showing (which they delivered), but, at the end, I was only disappointed with the poor field goal kicking.
I question the management of the last 30 seconds of clock (hindsight of course), but I believe the first 59:30 was managed very well by the coaching staff. SO, if we are grading the overall effort: 59.5 out of 60 --> A+.
PS - Coach, think about adding a fake field goal to the play book.

Neither Bama nor Florida are the best team in the nation and Tennessee is on the rise. Tebow is gone for Florida next year and they both play in knoxville next year... it's all over for them and I can't wait.

Can they add an option "Can't wait til next year!"? I think (call me crazy) we will beat them and Florida next year in our house. I really do. As long as Kiffin gets the recruits and the hard work from players and other coaches we could be a real threat to the SEC and the nation next year.

I love how Tennessee played Alabama, they are on the right track now and we have a lot to look forward to for many years to come. We'll see a difference now for the rest of the year and still have 5 games to go. Proud of the team and coaching staff, Go Vols!!

Florida should be keeping up with us because the tables are fixing to be turned, it will be sweeter singing rocky top at home next year anyway!! Go Vols!!
