BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Mississippi’s Dexter McCluster is the SEC offensive player of the week.
The league awarded defensive honors Monday to LSU linebacker Harry Coleman while Alabama kicker Leigh Tiffin was the top special teamer.
McCluster became the first Ole Miss player in the modern era to have 100 yards both rushing and receiving in a win over Arkansas.
Coleman had nine tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles in LSU’s win over Auburn.
Tiffin accounted for every Alabama point with four field goals in a victory over Tennessee.
The offensive lineman of the week was Kentucky center Jorge Gonzalez, while defensive line honors went to Alabama’s Terrence Cody.
Mississippi State defensive back Johnthan Banks was freshman of the week.

"Vol's Lincoln among SEC's honorees"
Wouldn't that have been something!

Get to the important stuff and tell me who the referees of the week are. They're the real superstars of this league!
Is it the UF-MSU bunch that awarded UF a TD when the ball was knocked free just before breaking the plane?
Or is it the bunch that kept their flags pocketed while Terrence Cody took off his helmet in a burst of live ball celebration?
Maybe the outcome is unchanged in both cases, but it's the principle of the thing. Which clearly didn't matter much to the refs.
SEC: Selective Enforcement Conference?
Come and get me, Mike Slive.

One thing refs want is consistency. They have it. Gave gators another win..this time on the road.

Teams with highest HC coaching salaries?
(in no particular order) UA, UF, LSU
Beneficiaries of the three biggest call/no calls of the last two weeks?
(in no particular order) UA, UF (x3), LSU
I'm sure that's just coincidence.

For starters, it is "too". And, why don't you worry about Lincoln and forget about Tiffin. He's the one that apparently didn't have the energy to get the ball off the ground 10 feet.
