Ex-Vol assistant Sanders breaks arm

Kentucky offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Randy Sanders suffered a broken arm Saturday during the Wildcats’ 31-27 win over Louisville.

Sanders broke his arm trying to brace his fall after a collision when Kentucky’s Derrick Locke was run out of bounds on a kickoff return in the fourth quarter.

Sanders, a Morristown native and former Tennessee quarterback and assistant coach, was taken for X-rays after the game.

“Sometimes when you think you’re still young and quick, you can’t get out of the way,’’ Kentucky coach Rich Brooks said. “It’s a good lesson for everybody on the sideline. . . . It’s a dangerous place.’’

Ratpack, do you have first-hand knowledge of Randy drinking, or do you just like to flap your lip? Best of luck for a speedy recovery Randy.

You do understand that people come on this site to have a good time and talk up UT sports. Maybe you should lighten up and not take these posts so seriously. Just a suggestion, you can call me stupid, too, if it makes you feel better.

Does being ambidextrous mean that you can also talk out of both sides of your mouth (or another orifice) or does it mean that you sometimes know of which you speak and at other times you have no clue?

When I first read this story, I thought you might have something to do with this. Please be very careful around the marinevol doll. And, could you move me a little closer to the UT cheerleader dolls?

Volster that was pretty stinkin' funny. Of course, I'm not sure you are qaulified to comment like that to the "hall of fame bowler." Are you a hall of fame bowler? Then again...what does it take to be a hall of fame bowler. Oh well...it was still funny.

The Ky coach's arm will heal in due time, we can hope.

Please be kind with your comments to Randy. Don't forget his first game as our OC was in the National Title game which we won. He's in rare company...not many coaches have a National Championship on their resume. Get well soon Randy.
