What? No 8? Already precluded from the SECCG?

Two games Ky and Vandy and maybe Auburn. You can not win in SEC without passing game.

We need to think about OHIO...one game at a time. Please no one tell me to think about something else to post. I am amazed at the VOL fans and now polls talking about what we are going to do the rest of the season, we are not that good yet. Please, please let's think about taking care of what is in front of us not what's beyond that.

Let's play and focus on football. Hounddog

No conference game will be easy. We'll be big underdogs against bama, Georgia and Ole Miss. Auburn and South Carolina will be tough. Vandy and Kentucky will take a great effort, but we should be able to beat them with just the running game. I think we win either 4 or 5 conference games.

You can win with running the ball and a top 3 defense. The VOLS just held the numer one offense in college football to 23 points.

Let's play football. Hounddog.

Easy question, they will win no more games, running out the clock, not trying to win.

You play the game like Washington did USC and you might just win.

Gators should get used to beating Tennessee. As ugly as the top ranked Gators believe the game was with the Vols on Saturday, Lane Kiffin had no thought of trying to win that game. For him and his staff, it was all about getting in and getting out with a score that wasn't humiliating. For that, give him credit. But that is no way to coach a game at a big time program like Tennessee.

Twice Crompton tried to go downfield and both times he was intercepted. Dance with what brought you. Run.

Which is worse: being called a cheater or a coward. Coach UM just called CLK a coward.

i'll say we'll go 4-4 in the conference if we play like we did against flar-duh. we should finish 7-5 and go to a bowl. if we catch a break or two, maybe 8-4 at best.

point is, flar-duh's a 2 loss sec team and has been over rated. they will not remain the number 1 team. ur-bum crier has lost a total of 8 sec games in 4 years, therefore, he averages 2 sec losses per year. their offense consists of 1 player and their defense is not as good as their fans and chris fowler think. when they play a team that's balanced on offense, gay-turds loose.

With all this talk of being so proud of only losing by 10, Vol fans are starting to sound like Vandy fans. Actually Vandy fans have quit taking pride in losses. So UT is the new Vandy!!

Would you like to make a wager on Florida losing 2 SEC games? I have no fear that my Gators will lose 1 game. Did they play bad absolutely but is that necessarily a bad thing, I don't think so. Last year they dominated UT & lost to Ole Miss b/c they got arrogant. This year they don't have that arrogance going into the Kentucky game. They know they're beatable & that's what makes Florida dangerous under Meyer. When they begin hearing critics, i.e. after last year's loss to Ole Miss, they play with fire. Look for Florida to play with fire now that they have some critics, of course most of these critics are UT, Bama, USC, & Texas fans.

It depends on too many things - each game is different. The defense should give us a chance to be in every game we play and the passing game can take us out of every game we play. The game plan for Florida was great, much better than last year, but we don't have much in the passing game. Crompton is the right QB for the team. Nick Stevens didn't show that he could do better last year and I don't see him being the answer. It all starts with recruiting. The 2006 and 2008 classes were not the best and we're paying for that now with the lack of depth and QB issues. If we get a good QB we will be back.

It is amusing the that your poll believes you will have 6 SEC wins. Let’s get real; you have no chance against GA., ALA, or Miss., you will be the underdog against Auburn, SC, and UK. and could win one of these. You should be favored against Vandy. As I see it,
2, 3 at best will be your SEC record, so its 2-6 or 3-5 at best. But there is always next year, good luck on finding a quarterback to go with your fine defense and running backs( and I sincerely meant that).

Stupid poll. We are playing Ohio. Do not underestimate them like some did UCLA. They are a good MAC team that gave Ohio St a close game last year. One thing for sure, they have a better QB than we do. Gainsville was better for JC than Knoxville (he got booed less) He's home this week & the first bad play or mistake he'll fall apart again & out come the boo birds. I think Stephens should get a chance, but I'll be damned if I'll boo my own team.
I hope our defense starts scoring some points or we are in for a long, long year. I think we're on the right track, but it ain't easy.
I've always heard that the backup QB is the most popular guy on the team. In this case maybe there's a reason.
GO VOLS!!!
