The Florida game's story line in a photo, video clip and five words

News Sentinel blogger Michael Silence has found a few images and five words that he says tell it all about Saturday's game in The Swamp in Gainesville.

Here's the video clip that tells the story of the game. (I suspect this will get removed from YouTube for rights infringement so view it now.)

He also says this photo tells the story.

And lastly, he says you can tell the story of the game is just five words.

Do you agree?

I am no JC apologist but he played better than I feared he might in the swamp. Yes he threw 2 Ints. But one was on 4th down with the game winding down, so you got to throw it out there and see if your WR can make a play. The FL DB just out fought us for the ball. Our receivers could get no seperation on FL DB's, so all we had was underneath stuff to our backs and he made those throws when they were there. If GJ can just sit down inbounds on the drive after the EB Int. JC has a TD throw. He managed the game well - no DOG penalites, no dear in the HL's moments. He ain't Peyton or even Casey but I saw improvement over the UCLA game. Somebody tell me I'm crazy.

I agree with the article.
On paper the VOLS should have been a "30" pt UD. New coaches/ system and so many TRUE FRESHMAN playing all lowered expectations for this years outcome. The potential is there. Experience is not. UF is a returning NATIONAL CHAMPS minus a few players for the team as a whole.
I think is obvious how much Hardesty has grown this year (Eddie G.) Many thanks to the new staff, UT football is exciting again.
GO VOLS!!

FLA has a great team but if they were playing BAMA or MISS this past week they would have lost that game and that is what the GATOR NATION saw in the TENN game. No receivers on that team..also BAME CAN PASS THE BALL AS WELL AS MISS. Don't know about LSU yet..That will be their hardest test till SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.
We knew at the start of the season that we were hurting at Q.B. so that shows the D is o.k. this year.

Giles would never see the field at TENN..Too many ahead of him. Easy at S.C. AS THEY HAD NO BACKS TO BEAT OUT.

I cant remeber where or what article , but I read on here that Tebow was going to send his message by trying to run over Eric Berry in the game. I think Tebow got the message berry was sending.

5 words are right on target. Tennessee won a huge recruiting war Saturday. It was clear that the future is in Knoxville. With Florida's deep defense/offense and Tebow gone, they will be no match for UT. Tennessee's paper thin depth out-gunned and out-hit Florida all day. It was evident Dan Mullen was gone as Florida read from a cookie-cutter playbook with no thought as to what play to call. And the only thing UF had making plays was Tebow.

Kiffin ran a balanced offense with a 1D QB. Had the offense not stalled in Qtr 3 - this game has a nightmare ending for UF.

I continue to see a lot of Tebow detractors. I bleed orange, but how can you not admire this kid? He is everything you would hope a star college athelete would be. Respectful, can speak in complete sentences, etc. Doesn't mean I didn't want to see him get pounded last Saturday...but he's a generational player and as a college football fan I believe he's great for the sport.

I Agree With Your Post 100% and I AM A VOL FAN. You are right on. We have some real "bitter" Tenn. Fans who can't let go of Fulmer and the blame game. Go Vols!

Agree 100%, but we don't have an "average" QB. JC is as good as it gets this year. So the question is did he play better in the Swamp than he did against the Bruins? I think he did. If he continues to improve maybe by Dawg week JC is an "average" QB.

One thing no Gay-tor can dispute- Eric Berry leaped ahead of Teeblow in the Heisman race. In fact, this performance (0 td, 1 int) against a team that won't win much this year probably knocked 'raptor Jesus' out of Heisman contention. Make an excuse for that, whiny Berber Crier lovers...
Stick UT in the state of Florida and we'd get all those mama's boys instead. But is it worth it to be Fla trash? Not really. it's not like the Gay-tors are doing great things, you are just surrounded by great local talent. We are out-recruiting you anyway, so what does that say about how HS players view your whiny midget coach and his excuses? Real football players want to play for tough guys like the UT staff, not babies who cry about excuses AFTER A WIN!!

Was reading on Volquest about John Cullen. He`s a 6`6 280 pound offensive lineman from a community college in California.Four-star.He likes Tennessee a lot,and has family in K-Town.Has offers from some other big-name schools.Being recruited by Jim Chaney.I say we have a good shot with him.GO,VOLS!!!

Look at the end of Janzen clip and see Vol 41 (Rogan?) moving towards Gator No. 2. Looks like 2 wants none of it.

He said he was watching the game Saturday, and liked what he saw.He says he prefferes the Pro- style offense to the spread. He says he liked the way the offense AND defense played.I think we get him.

I was wondering the same thing. All the SEC coaches have to report to "DaMan" after the games. He is "DaMan" in his dreams. Hey Saban, get your feet off the table.

Spurrier, use a coaster with that drink. Richt, Nutt, you two take it outside if you're going to fight. Would you like a little more red wine Coach Johnson? Oh, they don't let you drink at Vandy? I'll get you some milk. Use your fork, Myles. Sorry DaMan, couldn't resist.

Pretty good take, particularly the five word synopsis.

The players involved demanded the Berry/Tebow collision, but he could've just as easily used the Jackson hit on Brandon James. Saved a td and dropped his IQ at least 10 points.

Couldn't agree with you more. The only thing i can think is having some back-ups in case JC gets injured. But then, why not make him the backup?!

Hardrocknox writes:

On Monday, Kiffin said he didn’t want to respond to Meyer’s comment. But asked whether he was worried about the flu also hitting Tennessee, he said: “I don’t know. I guess we’ll wait and after we’re not excited about a performance, we’ll tell you everybody was sick.”
Kiffin you are the man , I bet cryer is so pissed he can't see strait ...LOL...LOL

What about Hardesty running over Spikes early in the game. I thought that was the best hit by far and no one is talking about it. Hardesty left Spikes on his rear, grasping at the air.
