wow...when did that happen?

going for a fumble....KNS is jumping the gun getting stories out during the press conference that is still going on

davethevol writes:

That must have been something that happened after the game since nothing was mentioned of it on Sunday or Monday. Maybe a fight at practice?

Where was Warren the last few weeks? Has anyone seen him on the field? Go Vols!

He has been our most reliable receiver when someone decides to throw to him. To bad hope he recovers quickly.

True. Anyone hear Tyler Bray committed? lol

Sucks for him personally, but does it really effect the team?

Hate it about Hancock, but here a door opens. UT will work on it's passing game against Ohio. We've got to make this area of the game click. Got to. I can only imagine the kind of days the RB's would have if the passing game produced.

I am surprised there aren't more broken jaws. I see helments fly off all the time. These guys need to strap em on tight

It's probably the 4-way chin straps.. most players jerk the rear snaps off after a series and even some plays.. sure they get worn out and easy to pop off.. if they didn't pop off, I wonder if the blow wouldn't be even harder though?

Has ANYONE heard ANYTHING about freshman James Green? He has basically fell off the face of the earth?

Is it a broken jaw or the flu?LOL! Hope he gets well. The Vols are thin on depth, but, the ones who have stuck it out are tougher than ever! GO VOLS!!!

He never qualified. I think he is at a JUCO in Virginia.

I saw Warren come across the field from the right to block on Hardesty's TD run.

Good post Shopgoss! I am so tired of people on here being so callous and undermining this young player and others. It is unhelpful to Tennessee and speaks poorly about all of us as fans. He had a bad game at UCLA, but Florida was considerably better. I think the offense will show us a lot more this week. The receivers need to go out and make some plays! Not just the QB, BOTH. IF, JC has another poor outing this week, then I'm pretty certain we will see more of NS and perhaps even Lamaison. I'm pulling for ALL OF THEM to do well. GO VOLS!

you boy are what we folk call a idiot! CRAPton has missed open recievers all season. look around boy, other QB's are doing more with less! Go get em!

true but we could not challenge em gaturds cuz we had crompton back there throwin. it sad when our coach doesn't have a nuff confidence in our ball thrower! i pull for em QB's ever game but the facts are we need a ball thrower with confidence...

Well, Jones DID catch the pass and he was, what, six inches out of bounds? What Jones should have done was edge down toward the goal line, parallel to the sideline, so he could come forward for the ball if the DB tried to make the play. I bet what Jones was thinking was that he was behind the DB, out of his field of view. If he HAD come toward the line, the DB would have seen him and tightened the coverage. Even so, as I said, Jones did catch the ball and the DB didn't make the play, so it was immaterial that JC took longer than he ideally should have to deliver the ball.

Gem writes:

Its sad that LK does not play to win. Players like Eric Berry will not put up with Lane's attitude very long. The real Vol Nation will figure this out soon. UT had a real shot at beating the Gators. And that would have been a valid reason to talk some smack.
