Game time for Tennessee’s game with Georgia on Oct. 10 at Neyland Stadium apparently will have to wait.
Men’s athletic director Mike Hamilton posted this Tweet on his Twitter account this morning:
“Networks take a 6 day window selection on the UT/UGa game meaning game time will not be known until next Monday. Will be noonish or 3:30.”

If by better control, you mean more arrests, poorer grades, a weaker recruiting class and same win-loss record, then I completely agree.
If it doesn't speak volumes that UT is having to play true freshmen and thin at almost every position, then there is no use discussing.

We didn't put Ohio away in the first half as LK knew we needed to practice the passing game against live competition for both Crompton's and the receiver's benefit. In the second half LK went back to a running game and we were never seriously threatened.
As far as the fans booing him, it was one fan at the airport. The coach he booed is 4-0 at this time.
It used to be you had to give a coach five years before you got rid of him. That was so he could bring in his players and red-shirt. That is no longer the case. Expectations have gotten high now, and a coach can only expect three years now. LK has made no bones about it, he says they should be much better in the third year and competing for championships.
I personally did not have a problem with PF and would have been satisfied if he had been given another year. I am not a "Fulmer hater", nor am I a enthusiastic LK supporter. PF had fallen off in recent years and his recruiting had fallen off with it. He also could not consistently beat his big rivals (UF, UGA, and UA). While he had a very good run in the 90's, the new coaches in the SEC were very successful against him.
This doesn't make either coach a bad man. PF has been judged by his performance, and LK will too. It is completely unrealistic to call for a coach's head not even half way into his first season. Give him the three years, and if he hasn't produced, then feel free to vent.

why noonish or 330 no chance for a night game on espn or espn2?

We lose to Ohio if Fulmer is coaching - Ill take a bad win over Ohio as opposed to a loss to Wyoming anyday. Besides, this talent deprived group that he has to work with isnt exactly busting at the seams with playmaking ability.. And yes, we probably will lose to Auburn and will lose other sec games as well, but it wont be because of a lack of coaching. 1 top ten recruiting class down and several top five classes on the way. This coaching staff will turn things around.

Closet Gayder if I ever seen one! You need to change your name dude, we don't want the school name to be associated with someone who talks like that. Have a little faith, the coaching change was a long time coming.
I hope Verne Lundquist is not doing the game, can't stand him. He's all over Tebow's n*ts every year and frankly I just don't want to hear his voice...OH My GOODNESS! Now Go Vols!!

we may have struggled against Ohio with 1ST YEAR head coach Kiffin(btw, we have freshman playing big roles in our team) BUT we lost to Wyoming with Fulmer. its better to struggle and get better than lose and just get worse, which is what we did last year.

This doesn't help me any. I need to make a hotel reservation. If game is around noon then we will come up and stay Friday. If it's 3:30 then we stay Sat. I hope it's 3:30 but just need to know.
CoverOrange writes:
Make reservations for both nights then cancel one of them before 6pm on Friday. Hotels let you do that. Just a thought.

That means there are hotter games for ESPN, which suits me since I actually go to games, and don't like to get home at 2 or 3 in the morning. Getting up for church is rough.

Tennessee-Georgia is bound to be the undercard barring anything weird happening -. Figure Ole Miss-Bama at 3:30 and then Florida-LSU is at 8. I'd call us a 12:21 kickoff, unless all three of these happen: we beat Auburn big, Ole Miss loses at Vandy, and Georgia upsets LSU.

Can it wait until sometime in 2012 or later - maybe the VOLS will actually have a chance to win by then!! Ha!!

The 3:30 p.m. EST slot will be Ole Miss/Alabama if Ole Miss beats Vanderbilt. Irregardless of the LSU/Georgia outcome the 10/10/09 night slot will be Florida/LSU to further feature Tebow (post concussion) and the night atmosphere/tradition of Tiger Stadium. Three things need to happen for the UT/Georgia game to be the prime 3:30 p.m. slot on CBS:
1) Vanderbilt upsets Ole Miss
2) Georgia upsets LSU (maybe not a deal killer if not)
3) UT beats Auburn (convincingly would help)
Without these three results, UT/Georgia will be the 12:30 p.m. game. Ironically, the most critical of the three is for Vandy to upset Ole Miss. That would put Ole Miss on a two game skid with UT at 3-2 and Georgia at 4-1/3-2...Go 'Dores?!!

Hey Bob4Apples, get over it already. CPF is NOT coaching anymore. He did a great job for the university, but it was time for him to go, just like it was for Majors in 1992. Get on the Lane Train now or get your big @$$ left at the station.
As always, Go Big Orange...beat Auburn!!

BobbinNot4Vols,
Let's compare after the Auburn game to see which coach was better or worse. You know Coach Fulmer's team lost last year and was the beginning of the end. Let's see if the Kiffin led Vols can do better. I think Auburn beat us by 3 last year and I think it was the one where there was a fumble between Crompton and the RB for a Auburn touchdown. If I am wrong, please correct me as my memory is getting bad. I would put money on Kiffin even with a beat up team.
GO BIG ORANGE! Smashmouth Football is back at UT
